The Washtar (A washboard Guitar) was invented as a result of actually being able to combine anything you wish with a guitar and adding '-tar' to the end of the word.
Though a ridiculous invention, it was made for a man's disabled son which is a pretty sweet thing to do.
The Washtar is best known for being included as part of the lore the Bishopville Lizardman ("catch him if you can") through the song Lizardman Stomp. ("Play your washtar and do the Lizardman Stomp")
The Washtar has brought joy to countless disabled individuals, while the Lizardman, who tastes like a Chicken Philly, simply disables individuals.
